26 Years of Nursing Experience
“As a nurse, we have the opportunity to heal the heart, mind, soul and body of our patients, their families and ourselves. They may not remember your name but they will never forget the way you made them feel." ~Maya Angelou
Patient Care
Taking care of my patients is the most important aspect of nursing. I am known for going above and beyond for my patients. It is my job to take care of them and I do not take that responsibility lightly. I am dedicated to my patients and I proudly put them first.
Passionate
Nursing is not just a career, but my passion. I have known that I wanted to be a nurse since I was seven years old. My love for nursing and for my patients is evident on a daily bases.
Morale Booster
I gladly take it upon myself to be the moral booster. I am known as "Bubbly Barb" because it is my goal to keep the spirits high for everyone around me. A hospital can be a gloomy place, but with a little love, hope and humor that can be changed.
About Me
Over the years I have gained a wide variety of experiences and skills within the healthcare industry. From Nursing Supervisor to Education Coordinator, I have maneuvered throughout the hospital world; however, my priority is patient satisfaction. I always go the extra mile to ensure that my patients are happy and comfortable. It is my intention to provide the upmost care for my patients and make sure they remain hopeful and in high spirits. A passion of mine outside of nursing is tending and working on my farm. The animals on my farm receive my love and care, similarly to the manner and fineness I bestow upon my patients.
